4 Thursdays in May at 10am for 1 hour with morning tea to follow May 1st - Legal Matters - Address by a local lawyer on 'Legal matters' affecting Seniors, followed by question time. May 8th - CentreLink - A representative of CentreLink will make us all more aware of what is available to Seniors and how to activate benefits etc. May 15th - Managing Seniors Health - A retired Doctor will talk about medical needs and answers for Seniors today. May 22nd - CentreLink - Taking further steps to help us understand current Government issues affecting seniors. Talks are open to all senior members of the community and their friends. On the 20th April there will be a special 'preview' to the sermon series coming up in term 2 - Living Life on Purpose. International speaker, Tom Sine, the author of the book 'Living on Purpose: Finding God’s Best for Your Life' will be speaking!
Tom Sine is an author, teacher, historian, and international consultant in futures research. He and his wife, Christine, founded Mustard Seed Associates , a network of followers of Jesus that seeks to unleash the creative potential of individuals who want to put God’s purposes first in their lives. His books include Mustard Seed Conspiracy, Mustard Seed Versus McWorld, and Living on Purpose: Finding God’s Best for Your Life (written with Christine). Tom and Christine live in Seattle, Washington. |  |

On Sunday 16th of March we're having our Church Family Picnic! Come and join us for a great time. BBQ lunch (provided) Activities for all ages. Parents vs Kids cricket challenge. Games, races, etc. Time : 12:00 noon Location : Fagan Park, Galston (Carrs Rd entrance) $4 parking or short walk from Carrs rd. Bring your picnic sets & drinks, rugs or chairs, while we supply the food. Cost : $5 a head or $15 a family Tickets available from Carolyn Esson |
